What's New > National conference to offer diverse mini-recitals
NATS has curated four mini-recitals as part of the breakout sessions for the 58th national conference in Knoxville, Tennessee. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a diverse array of musical styles and repertoire during these sessions.
These mini-recitals offer attendees the chance to experience new literature, or delve into less-familiar repertoire, which can be used in their studios or serve as inspiration for upcoming performances. The themes for the 2024 mini-recitals include: art song from Japan, China and Korea; Afrikaans art song; Cajun and Creole French poetry and songs; music from female composers; the music of Mexicana and Latin-American female composers; as well as Mexican art song.
Below is the list of mini-recitals, along with their dates and times. All sessions are included with conference registration. To take advantage of the early-bird registration discount, attendees are encouraged to register by Monday, April 1.
