The National Association of Teachers of Singing is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Dillard Scholar Awards. Named in honor of the late NATS president Jane Dillard, these awards recognize the accomplishments of three singers selected from the NATS Summer Program Auditions and help them with costs associated with attending a summer program or young artist program.
NATS SPA, now in its fifth cycle, streamlines the summer program audition process by allowing singers to submit one application to multiple programs through a unified platform on NATS.org. This year, 24 organizations took part in the initiative.
Congratulations to the 2025 Dillard Scholar Award recipients and their teachers!

NATS Executive Director Allen Henderson is pleased that the association can support students singers pursuing these programs.
“It’s always a joy when NATS can help student singers with enhancing their music studies,” Henderson said. “Being able to support students with the summer programs process through a streamlined application and financially through scholarships is very gratifying. We commend NATS member Serena Hill LaRoche for her ongoing dedication to the NATS SPA. Big congrats to this year’s Dillard Scholar Award recipients and their teachers! We wish all SPA participants a fantastic summer!”
