Bio: Judy Boyter taught secondary choral music in California and in the Northwest Houston area for twenty-five years. Specifically in Texas, she has taught in the Klein, Conroe, Spring, and Cy-Fair school districts. Since retiring from public school teaching, she has maintained a private voice and piano studio in her home. She has also taught in the private voice lesson programs in the Tomball and Klein Independent School Districts. She has served as choral director and pianist at Cypress Creek Christian Church in Spring, Christ United Methodist Church in The Woodlands, and St. John Lutheran Church in Cypress. Mrs. Boyter has appeared as a featured vocal soloist with the Houston Symphony Chorus, Fort Worth Symphony, University of Houston Chorale, the late Bev Henson Chorale, Clear Lake Symphony, Galveston Symphony, and other area community chorale organizations and churches. She has also sung with the Houston Chamber Choir and the Houston Masterworks Chorus. As a piano accompanist, Mrs. Boyter plays for Houston area musical productions, solo competitions and recitals, region choir performances, high school choir concerts, church services, weddings, dinners and receptions.
