Bio: Amie Debrone is a multi-genre singer, actor & in-demand teacher and coach whose students can be found on screens and stages across Canada. She received her Honours BMus in voice from Wilfrid Laurier University and has completed additional training at NYU, The Banff Centre, Stratford Festival, and more. In 2023, Amie became the first person in Canada to be certified by The Singing Athlete which uses neuroscience to create lasting change for singers and actors of all levels and ages, and she is currently the highest level and most experienced practitioner of this work in Canada. Performance highlights in theatre, musical theatre, pop & opera include shows with Drayton Entertainment, Spiritus Ensemble, WLU Opera, The KW Symphony and Lost & Found Theatre, among others. Amie teaches from her home studio in Kitchener, but has students from Toronto, Sydney Australia and beyond via the magic of Zoom. Amie is passionate about voice, body and brain science, and encourages performers and teachers to become unique and elite artists and coaches. Science leads to Art.
