Bio: I have been singing as long as I can remember. Singing is definitely my first love and what has been the driving force for my education and career. I received my Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at San Antonio and my Master's and Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. I have studied with two great artists, Shirley Verrett and George Shirley, their instruction, stories and lives inspire my own teaching. Although I am a classically trained singer I have always been connected to the world of Contemporary Commercial Music and in July of 2013 completed my certification in Somatic Voicework-The LoVetri Method.
