Bio: Dr. Emily Martin (she/her/hers) is the Elaine P. Williams Associate Professor of Music and Director of the Bucknell Voice Lab at Bucknell University. She is also the inaugural Faculty Fellow for the new Pericelli-Gegnas Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation and co-founder of em2CONNECT. This small creative facilitation firm specializes in education and project development for performing artists. Emily, an American lyric soprano, has regularly received acclaim for her “enchanting iridescence” (The Sarasota Herald-Tribune). It has been called “dramatically energetic and skillful” (The Philadelphia Inquirer). Emily’s career in opera has spanned debuts with such companies as the Santa Fe Opera, Palm Beach, and Nevada Opera, among others. Emily is a sought-after masterclass clinician, artist-in-residence, producer, and stage director. As a lifelong educator and registered yoga teacher, Emily has led workshops in arts entrepreneurship, voice work, and musician-specific movement classes worldwide. Emily graduated in 2023 from the Summer Vocology Institute at the University of Utah.
