Julie Harris

Bio: Soprano, Julie Harris, holds an MMus from the University of Calgary, an Artist Diploma from the University of Toronto and studied early music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. She has appeared with the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, Toronto Chamber Choir, Alberta Baroque (Edmonton) and La Cetra (Vancouver) and has been engaged for roles in Baroque Opera with Opera Atelier and the Toronto Consort. Julie is a founding member of VoiceScapes. She teaches voice and directs the Collegium Musicum at the University of Calgary as well as teaching voice privately and coaching local choirs. In 1999, she founded Calgary’s Early Music Voices Concert Series to present early music in Calgary.
