Bio: Assistance professor in voice, Berklee College of Music. Adjunct jazz voice faculty at Wellesley College. A former adjunct faculty member of University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Boston Conservatory, she also teaches at her own studio in Ashland, MA or virtually. MM in Jazz Performance, New England Conservatory. Diploma in Vocal Performance, Berklee College of Music. BA in Drama, Nihon University, College of Arts. Level 3 certified instructor, Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Institute featuring Somatic Voicework™, the LoVetri Method. She teaches vocal production and styles for all commercial styles including music theater, jazz, pop, rock, gospel, R&B, country, folk and alternative. She is also specialized in teaching jazz styles, improvisation, scat singing, jazz theory, and ear training. She teaches all age groups and the lessons are tailored to each student's needs. The students learn the ability to sing in most comfortable, healthy ways appropriate to the style of music she/he sings. She is an experienced jazz singer performing in New England, New York area as well as in her native country, Japan.
