Bio: Dr. Shellie Beeman completed her Doctor of Arts degree in Voice Performance, with a secondary area in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University, where she studied with Dr. Meryl Mantione. She currently works at Jacksonville State University, where she serves as Associate Professor of Music/Voice. She also serves on faculty at the McClosky Institute of Voice. Her prior teaching experience includes independent voice studio work and collegiate level teaching at Bob Jones University, Adams State University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Northland International University. She also served as a Teaching Assistant at Ball State University and Bob Jones University. Shellie holds a certification in the McClosky Technique (CMVT), allowing her to collaborate with a voice care team with singers who have been diagnosed with voice disorders.
