Bio: Justin Montigne is an experienced vocal pedagogue and multifaceted singer. Dr. Montigne is currently an Assistant Professor of Voice at University of North Dakota, where he teaches voice lessons and diction for singers, and is Music Director of the Musical Theatre Production. He spent fifteen years with the Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Girls Chorus in numerous roles, including a long tenure as Director of Voice Studies. Dr. Montigne has taught on the voice faculties of UC Davis, UC Berkeley, and Sonoma State University. He is an expressive performer comfortable in many styles and eras of music. Dr. Montigne toured the world and recorded for three years with the Grammy Award-Winning men’s ensemble, Chanticleer, and was a founding member of the men’s ensemble, Clerestory, curating more than forty different concert programs and recordings over fifteen seasons.
