Title: Voice Teacher/Vocal Coach
Bio: I am a New York based performer and instructor, with extensive experience teaching beginner singers through college undergraduate and adult professionals. I have found a niche helping my students succeed in many different vocal styles, as my professional career has spanned from Opera to Pop and Musical Theatre. I make sure to teach my students the technical fundamentals and shifts required to properly produce different styles of singing, while of course training one cohesive and healthy instrument. My professional highlights include playing Christine Daae on the North American Tour of The Phantom of the Opera, and Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King musical, for which I won the Joseph Jefferson Award in 2024 (best principal performer in a musical). My journey with Beautiful began understudying Carole on the National Tour, and continued with playing Carole in three regional runs. I have a Masters of Music in Opera, and a Bachelors in Music Education, and made my professional Operatic debut in 2015 with the Baltimore Concert Opera. Shortly thereafter, I was a recipient of the Emerging Talent Award from the Lotte Lenya Competition. More information can be found on my website, KaitlynNicoleDavis.com
