Bio:
Ziwei Lin is a distinguished mezzo-soprano currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts at The Catholic University of America’s Rome School of Music, under the mentorship of Sharon Christman. Her musical journey spans international stages, highlighted by achievements such as the Master Prize in the UK International Music Competition and notable performances in Handel’s Serse and Mozart’s arias.
Ziwei holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance, where she honed her artistry in opera workshops and vocal coaching. Her foundational training began at Central China Normal University, complemented by an exchange program at Southern Utah University. In 2024, she further enriched her expertise through vocal pedagogy tutorials at Oxford University with Giles Underwood.
As an educator and performer, Ziwei has taught music theory, organized student performances, and participated in over 30 choral engagements. Her diverse skills include proficiency in piano, multilingual abilities, and adeptness in social media management, making her a versatile musician and communicator.
