Bio: Soo Young Chrisfield is the owner and instructor of Keys and Cords Music Studio in Riverdale, MD. She has nearly 30 years of experience teaching voice and piano privately. She is certified in Orff Schulwerk and has 12 years of teaching general music in schools with students ranging from infants to 8th grade. She studied at The George Washington University as a Presidential Arts Scholar, Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University as an undergraduate in Vocal Performance, and the University of Maryland, where she earned her M.M. in Opera Performance through the Maryland Opera Studio. She is currently the section leader Grace Episcopal Church in Washington, DC and has been the featured soprano soloist in its annual Bach Festival for 15 seasons.
