Bio: As the owner of Head to Heart Voice Studio LLC, I bring a wealth of musical expertise, all rooted in the development of my love for singing within the African American church tradition in the rural South. My approach focuses on cultivating vocal efficiency through evidence-based practices, connecting with the music, and guiding singers to establish a profound bond with their audience. We do this through improvisation, phrasing, and storytelling. My educational journey includes a Bachelor of Music degree, and I hold certifications in Vocal Function 101 and Mechanics of Mix & Belt, acquired through the esteemed Maddie Tarbox Voice Studio. Currently, I am in the final stages of completing my Masters of Music in Voice Performance. I find immense joy in teaching both technique and storytelling. My expertise extends to working with a diverse range of singers, from beginners taking their first steps into the world of music to local gigging musicians seeking to refine their craft. Recently I was a semi-finalist in AGT ( America's Got Talent) and when I'm not teaching, I'm performing! When I'm not performing, I'm spending time with my DSLR camera taking portraits.
