Bio:

I am a classically trained Tenor based in Minneapolis and hold both a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Oberlin Conservatory and a M.M. with distinction from Westminster Choir College. I have been teaching singing and public speaking for a number of years now and have become a passionate teacher of all vocal genres/styles! I have taught Musical Theater, Classical, Pop, Jazz, and Metal style singing in lessons to great success. I have experience working with voice users of all ages (9-68 to be exact) and all experience levels! My younger singers have been cast in recitals, school musicals, and summer programs such as the Interlochen Arts Academy, and my professional singers have released songs, performed one-woman shows, and been cast in local theater productions.

In the studio, my teaching philosophy is to establish healthy vocal habits in singers/speakers of any age and to instill a love of music & creativity in the next generation of voice users. My pedagogy stems from both historical vocal tradition and contemporary voice science, so students receive a holistic approach to vocal technique.
