Bio: Jennifer Cece, MM, RYT, is a classically trained and Somatic Voicework™ certified teacher who has been teaching voice and piano privately for students ages 8 to 88 years old in Westwood, NJ, for over twenty five years. Her students have earned lead and ensemble roles on Broadway, off Broadway and with various opera companies in New York City as well as in local school and community productions. Additionally many of her high school students have been accepted in musical theatre and opera university programs across the country. A licensed yoga teacher for over fifteen years, Jennifer Cece infuses many aspects of yoga into her voice training for the benefit of improved anxiety management, breath control, physical awareness and stamina. Professionally, Jennifer Cece Bellon, lyric colatura soprano, recently performed Musetta in La Boheme, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro in Bergen County, NJ with the Palisades Opera. In NYC she performed Violetta in La Traviata, Blönchen in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Semiramide in Semiramide, Armida in Rinaldo, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Atalanta in Xerxes Lucia in Lucia Di Lammermoor and Lucrezia in Lucrezia Borgia, with the New York Opera Forum, New York, New York. Also, of note are performances in the Mostly Mozart Festival Lincoln Center with Pro-Arte Chorale , in Rapunzel as Rapunzel at the Paper Mill Playhouse, and regular solo performances with Rockland Symphony Orchestra, North Jersey Symphony Orchestra, and the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey.
