Bio: ​Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music with a Professional Music Degree. At Berklee, she focused on vocal performance, songwriting, music business, and production. She is pop vocalist cross trained with a technical background in classical and musical theatre. Stephanie has studied with Noel Smith and has further training from Kevin Wilson’s Musical Theater and Vocal Pedagogy Workshop at Boston Conservatory. A songwriter and recording artist, Stephanie leads her own band, Stephanie James and has performed on stages from Boston to NYC, LA, and beyond including such notable venues as Boston Symphony Hall, Agganis Arena, Rockwood Music Hall, Hotel Cafe and City Winery. Stephanie also works as a lead vocalist for bands in the Boston area performing at weddings, corporate events, and private parties. Her 15 years performance experience and training stands as a strong foundation for singing in a range of genres, vocal endurance, and performance skills on stage and in the studio.
