Title: Adjunct Professor of Voice
Bio: Alex is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University, earning a Bachelor of Music in Church Music, and William Carey University, earning a Master of Music in Worship Studies. He is currently continuing his education at William Carey University, working toward a Doctor of Arts in Music and Worship Ministry. He has also completed professional development courses in both vocal and choral pedagogy at the Westminster Choir College of Rider University. He has competed at NATS National Student Audition competitions in both Musical Theatre and Classical categories, placing as a national semifinalist for Musical Theatre and a national quarterfinalist for Classical. Alex serves as Adjunct Professor of Voice at Anderson University and as Adjunct Professor of Music and Worship at Liberty University. His teaching method incorporates music theory and history, as well as vocal physiology, in order to help every student find his or her own unique voice and establish healthy singing techniques in order to facilitate longevity of the voice.
