Bio:

I am a classical soprano with an active international career in opera, concert, and art song that has taken me to some of the most important stages in the world, performing masterpieces and rarely heard pieces, plus new music of living composers. I am also a very passionate voice teacher with 20 years’ experience. I studied at Washington and Lee University, The Juilliard School, and The Juilliard Opera Center. I have always balanced teaching with performing, and am very proud of my current and former students, who are changing the face of the arts industry today! Some of my most rewarding experiences have been teaching singers living with disabilities or coping with injuries. I have helped a number of singers recover from vocal pathologies, abdominal surgeries, and childbirth, and have experience myself in recovering from an intubation injury, and two childbirths.
