Praised for her “most genuine performing” by Birmingham Post, Meng-Jung Meg Tsai is a soprano originally from Taipei, Taiwan and currently based in Dallas/Fort Worth area. Meg has been involved in vocal and choral music since the age of nine. She holds her Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of North Texas, Master of Music and Post Graduate Diploma from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, UK, and her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Catholic Fu-Jen University in Taipei. She teaches voice at The Colony High School in Lewisville, Keller High School and Hillwood Middle School in Keller. In her 15 years of teaching, her students have been placed in TMEA All-State Choir, UIL All-Region Choir; been selected for concert soloists, leading roles in opera workshops, as well as in local musical theater productions; several have been admitted as music majors at the University of Texas, University of North Texas, Dallas Baptist University, Mississippi State University. Meg performs as a soloist in operas and concerts, and serves as the choral scholar leader at Flower Mound United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Dr. WeiShu Tsai, have a 6-year-old son, Channing. Dr. Meg is very happy to join NATS and Find-A-Teacher family.
