Bio: Dr. Jane Clukey, mezzo soprano, received her Doctor of Musical Arts from Shenandoah Conservatory, her Master of Music from the University of North Texas, and her Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern Maine. Dr. Clukey is an active performer and teacher of classical and commercial styles. Recently, she has appeared at Gardenfest (an independent musical festival in Gray, ME), with the Studio Theatre of Bath, and performs regularly as "Christine McVie" in Crystal Vision, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Dr. Clukey teaches private lessons at the Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath, the Brunswick Landing YMCA, and online. Dr. Clukey has served as Vocal Director of the UNE Players at University of New England, and is co-founder of The Complete Voice, a young artist summer program. Dr. Clukey is a member of the Maine Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and Opera on Tap Maine, and sits on the board of the Studio Theatre of Bath.
