I believe in the transformative power of music. Inspired by Joseph Campbell's "Follow Your Bliss," I invite you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and artistic expression.
My holistic approach emphasizes developing mind, body, and soul, fostering a supportive, inclusive environment. Under my guidance, students have achieved remarkable milestones: international competition wins, Carnegie Hall debuts, NATS National Finalists, talent agent signings, commercial/film appearances, and music releases. My students excel with a 90% graduation record, entering top performing arts programs.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in meeting you where you are—a unique blend of potential and curiosity. I bridge the gap between theory, technique, artistic expression, and performance art, creating a safe, trust-filled studio space where mistakes become growth opportunities.
I specialize in teaching a diverse range of voices, including changing adolescent, transgender, and aging voices. My support extends beyond lessons, actively seeking performance opportunities for students. I am your cheerleader and champion, always encouraging the courageous singer within you.
With extensive experience as a professional singer, I’ve performed with renowned institutions such as Juilliard, Paris National Opera, New York City Opera, and the Metropolitan Opera. My roles include performances with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Tony® Award-winning TheatreWorks (Sweeney Todd), Ray of Light Theatre (Jerry Springer: The Opera), and Broadway By the Bay (Fantine in Les Misérables). As an active member of NATS, ANATS, and AEA, I champion innovative and inclusive vocal education.
