Bio:

Sarah Vincelett Dredge (she/her/hers), mezzo-soprano, has been teaching voice in New England for 15 years. With experience in academic, private, and community music schools, she excels at customizing her teaching approach to suit a wide range of musical genres and environments while promoting healthy vocal technique. Sarah currently teaches at Mount Holyoke College and Smith College, where she works with students of diverse backgrounds and musical interests. Sarah focuses on empowering students, helping them achieve both technical and performance goals. Her lessons incorporate vocal exercises that enhance body awareness, breathing techniques that support cognitive and emotional processes, and an emphasis on vocal hygiene. She also integrates contemporary voice research into her teaching to help students understand how their bodies and voices work, both in the studio and on stage.

Sarah is an active member of the New England Regional and Boston chapters of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and The Voice Foundation.
