Bio:

Graduated from Westminster Choir College with degrees in Music Education, Piano Performance, and Piano Pedagogy and a Master of Music Education from Eastern Illinois University. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Southern Queensland and conducting three research studies on the experience of singing in mixed voice by female contemporary musical theatre performers on Broadway.

Works with students to develop a wide variety of repertoire for diverse audition and performance situations. Knowledgeable in French, German, and Italian, with expertise in selecting the perfect art song, musical theatre piece, or modern pop song for audition and performance needs. Provides recordings of accompaniments for auditions and performances. Lessons incorporate sight-reading and piano skills, fostering well-rounded musicians. Specializes in preparing students for college auditions in both classical and musical theatre repertoire. Emphasizes vocal pedagogy and vocal health, focusing on teaching a healthy mix.
