BIOGRAPHY
Marie Anderson is an accomplished pianist and accompanist. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and her Masters of Music Education with Piano Performance from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Marie is a versatile artist who has extensive experience in performing at the piano, cantoring and accompanying in multiple churches, music directing and accompanying in many local theaters, as well as teaching private voice and piano from her home in Chester Springs. Pennsylvania. Marie was recently added to the staff at Devon Preparatory School in Devon, Pennsylvania as the Vocal Director and is very excited to direct the choir, Choraltide, the a cappella choir, Riptide, as well as the Spring Musical. She also on staff at the Main Line School of Rock in Berwyn, Pennsylvania where she is the Advanced Vocal Instructor. She focuses on vocal health in all styles of music. Lastly, aside from various gigs as a pianist, she works at Ursinus College as the Staff Accompanist and loves every minute of it.
