Title: Singing Teacher

Bio: My expertise is developing voice talent at all levels of skill and experience. I teach singing holistically, focusing on vocal function, mechanics, and technique. I have been teaching private voice lessons since 1997 and have been a guest teacher of individual voice at AMDA College of Performing Arts Los Angeles. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, I studied vocal performance at Foothill College in Los Altos, California, with double Grammy nominee Phil Mattson (arranger for The Manhattan Transfer, Chanticleer) and vocal pedagogy and performance at the University of British Columbia. A member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, I continued my career as an accomplished principal singer in Las Vegas and Atlantic City in long-running shows Jubilee, City Lites, Lido de Paris, and other productions including TV and Film. My true passion is teaching vocal technique, function, and mechanics, having long studied vocal pedagogy and vocal science with world-renowned voice teacher Joel Ewing Ph.D., specifically the works of Dr. E. Herbert-Caesari, William Vennard, Cornelius Reid, Richard Miller, and others.
