Bio: Troy has worked has worked as a music director for numerous regional and community theaters around the country including long term staff positions with Olympia Musical Theatre, Capital Playhouse in Olympia, WA, Utah Musical Theatre in Ogden, Utah, The Toledo Rep. in Toledo, OH, Iron Rod Family Productions in Portland, OR, The Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson, WI, and Music Arts Inc. in Atlanta, GA. Troy is the founding music director of Kids in Concert, Olympia's premier youth choir. This group has toured nationally and internationally, performing with other internationally recognized youth choirs, and working with noted composers and lyricists such as Stephen Schwartz and Al Kasha. Troy is also the long time staff music director for the Olympia Unitarian Universalists Congregation, where he conducts a vibrant choir that has toured internationally. Troy's private students have gone on to be accepted into major university musical theatre, opera, and voice programs; as well as working on Broadway, Regional Theatre, and Opera stages around the country.
