Bio: Brenda is a folk singer turned classical trained mezzo-soprano with a B.S. in Music Education from The College of St.Rose, Albany, NY. She holds a certificate in Orff Schulwerk and Music Together Level #2 Certification. Brenda has been a choral singer for over 40 years, soloist, choir director, children's musical director, guitar, flute, piano player, Early Childhood Music Specialist, children's entertainer, Owner/Director of Preschool Music Plus Music Together Classes, a private beginning guitar instructor and private voice and beginning guitar instructor. She has performed in musical theater, large and small choral groups in NY, PA and IN. and has coached voices of elementary school students through adults over the last 30 years. As an active member of ACDA, she has kept up on vocal technique and attends workshops and Master Classes regularly. Brenda is the Managing Director, President/Artistic Committee Member of VOCE (VOCEindy.org) a small semi-professional chamber group in Carmel, IN. VOCE has recorded 5 songs for composer Dan Forrest's CD - "Music Of the Living" 2011 and is available to hire as quartets,octets or the full choir events.
