Bio:

Mezzo-soprano Dr. Anne Elise Richie is a highly experienced professional singer and voice teacher. She completed her doctoral studies at the Florida State University and currently resides in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Dr. Richie is a Master Adjudicator for the Wisconsin School Music Association and also adjudicates National Federation of Music Clubs Festivals.

A graduate of The Florida State University, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and the North Carolina School of the Arts, Anne Elise Richie specializes in classical and music theater repertoire. She has held college and high school teaching positions as well as maintained a private voice studio in Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Winston-Salem, Tallahassee, and Jacksonville prior to relocating to Milwaukee in 2014. Her technique, based on the best bel-canto practices, yields excellent, healthy results. She is passionate about helping aspiring professional and avocational students make the most of their gifts by helping them improve their breath technique, range, resonance, and diction. Dr. Richie also offers an introduction to piano, music reading, and theory fundamentals. These can be incorporated in the recommended weekly 1 hour lesson. Vocal Coaching for Professional Voice Users is also available.
