Bio:

Victoria Rapanan, a native New Yorker and Filipino-American, is an International Voice Teacher and Vocal Technician. She specializes in the Old Italian School of Singing, with the Swedish influence, and also cross-trains into contemporary commercial musical styles. Victoria has taught voice for 34 years and trained and apprenticed in New York with the renowned Vocal Pedagogue, David Jones. Her private studio is located in Pleasant Hill (30 minutes east of San Francisco); she teaches locally and internationally via Zoom. In addition, Victoria has a popular YouTube channel called Healthy Vocal Technique, with 500,000+ subscribers, where she teaches the whole world to sing through Victoria's Victorious Vocal Tips. She was an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Diablo Valley College for 11 years and taught for Mt. Diablo Adult Education for 23 years. Victoria has been a regular guest instructor in Bangkok and Manila, and also taught at the International Lyric Academy in Italy. Many of her students have pursued professional careers in opera, musical theatre, recording, teaching voice, and choral conducting, besides winning awards in competitions and performing internationally. She has taught singers in many genres of music – classical, contemporary and traditional musical theatre, jazz, pop, R&B, gospel, international folk, etc.

Victoria was the President of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, San Francisco Bay Area Chapter, from 2012-2016. She also served as Vice President, Recitals from 2006-2012.
