Bio:

I have sung in operas, oratorio, musical theatre, radio, TV, recitals, and performances of American Standards in this country, England, Holland, Korea, South Vietnam and Nigeria. My undergraduate degree is from Meredith College and Master of Music from Indiana University. Both degrees are in vocal performance. I studied classical and jazz singing with Eileen Farrell at IU.

I have taught voice approximately 38 years. I teach in my home in Rocky Mount, NC. I have also directed the Tar River Children's Chorus (affiliate of the Tar River Orchestra and Chorus for 28 years. There are approximately 60 children, grades 3-12 in my chorus.

I enjoy teaching all ages and nurturing those with God-given gifts!
