Bio: An internationally-recognized scholar in Puccini opera studies, Dr Scherr has taught primarily classical singing for 3 decades. She currently teaches Italian, French, and German pronunciation, vocal pedagogy, and stage presence to singing majors and musical theatre style performance to theater majors at Fresno Pacific University. She also teaches music at Hoover High School (Fresno, CA). From 2013-2022 Dr Scherr served at a large private university in China, using Mandarin Chinese in the classroom and studio.
