Bio: Students of all ages, beginners to advanced adults, may study with me at St. Andrew's School of Fine Arts (Buffalo Speedway & Bissonnet) or at my private studio located near the Medical and Museum Districts. Lessons focus on the unique needs of the vocalist. By developing healthy technical habits and strong musicianship and performance skills, you can sing with ease and confidence in your preferred vocal style. My students are active as performers in school ensembles, musical theatre companies, professional opera companies, contemporary/pop venues, choirs, and as classical soloists. Their affiliations include the Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, HITS!, Houston Boychoir, HGOco Summer Camps, & Wildfish Theatre. I earned my master of music degree in vocal performance from New England Conservatory. A staff singer for Christ the King Lutheran Church, I perform with the Bach Society Houston. For many years I was on the voice faculty of Brigham Young University - Hawaii and the Punahou Music School in Honolulu. My engagements as soprano soloist include performances with the Honolulu Symphony, the California Symphony, the Hawaii Opera Theatre, Chamber Music Hawaii, and the Hawaii International Choral Festival.
