Bio: I offer both private (individual) and small group (shared) lessons to adults, teens and children. My focus is on solid, healthy vocal technique. Students are encouraged to augment their repertoire with a variety of musical styles. I also provide instruction in solfeggio, sight-singing, ear-training, and piano skills. | My professional studio consists of a conservatory room which can open into the living room of my home, making it an ideal recital and workshop space as well. In addition to a Steinway grand piano and hundreds of volumes of literature for voice, I employ audio and video recording systems for later study. | The atmosphere of my renovated English Tudor home is comfortably elegant yet warm and welcoming. It is easily accessible, located in a historic neighborhood within ten minutes of downtown Nashville, Vanderbilt, Belmont, and Lipscomb Universities, and "Music Row," the recording industry center in Nashville. | COVID-19 update: My husband, Jonathan Kasper, and I are both double-vaccinated and boosted with Pfizer. Our in-person, COVID-safe lessons include open-air in our sunroom (or on the patio, weather permitting) for ventilation and air filtration systems. We meet with masks and use social distancing but get some occasional mask breaks.
