A tenured professor in Texas for many years, she now divides her time between New York City and Waco, Texas. "My voice teaching philosophy emphasizes knowledge of the vocal instrument, so that students may eventually self-teach. Correct singing technique transcends style, as any musical style can be learned with proper vocal technique. I train classically, and happily embrace and train contemporary musical theatre technique, including belting. I enjoy coaching music theatre, opera, and lieder, and have excellent accompanying skills". "My vocal studio is primarily in New York, but I am in Texas (Dallas/Austin area), very frequently. I also teach via SKYPE."
