Bio: I retired as Professor of Music and Director of Vocal Studies at Saint Xavier University in 2015, but continue to teach voice students, and offer workshops and masterclasses for schools, and churches in the Chicago area. I currently teach voice in my private studio, using bel canto technique based on proven scientific evidence, and taught through the use of a textbook I authored, entitled: Vocal Technique, A Physiologic Approach, published by Plural Publishing, now in its second edition with online videos and links. My students have gone on to complete graduate level degrees in vocal music, and to sing professionally throughout the US, and particularly in Chicago.
