NATS is pleased to offer the Mentored Teaching Experience as part of the 2023 Winter Workshop. This initiative is aimed at providing more NATS members with development opportunities. Participants can gain valuable feedback and re-energize their teaching. Workshop participants have the opportunity for a session with one of our mentor teachers, for an additional $100.

• Are you a private studio voice teacher who wants to strengthen your studio pedagogy?
• Are you a college/conservatory-level studio voice teacher or collaborative pianist who wants feedback on your teaching, separate from the teaching evaluations you may already receive?
• Have you wanted to participate in the NATS Intern Program but do not qualify?
• Are you looking for a way to re-energize your teaching?

If any of the above applies to you, you are perfect candidate to participate in this NATS initiative that is aimed at providing development opportunities to all NATS members.

NOTE: Only attendees registered for the full Winter Workshop may participate in this program.

The 2023 mentors are: Felix Graham, Errik Hood, Vindhya Khare and Lynn Martindale.

After completing your registration, you MUST fill out a Mentored Teaching Experience Student Information and YouTube Link form. Those participating in the Mentored Teaching Experience must have two 30+ minute lesson videos ready no later than December 15.

Time and place: NATS Winter Workshop, Miami, January 6-8, 2023.
Cost: There is a $100 fee that will go to the Mentor Teacher, who is otherwise volunteering time and effort.

Space is limited - a maximum of 32 studio teachers may participate.
