Central Region Student Auditions/Conference
October 26 - 28, 2023
The 2023 conference is at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, October 26-28 (Thursday through Saturday).
The conference will include the biennial NATSAA competition on Thursday evening, and on Friday & Saturday all NSA categories in classical, musical theatre, and commercial music genres.
Breakfast roundtables will return, as will poster presentations and a S-NATS mixer. Two performance classes will be offered, in classical style and in musical theatre style. This will be a long weekend with three genres and all age-group categories represented!
Deborah Gover (Luther College) is conference chair; Al Cooper (Western Illinois University) is assistant chair. Dr. Jessica Saunders (Kirkwood Community College/Saunders Vocal Studios/Dynamic Music Studios) is the audition chair.
