Beginning August 2020

The Tell School of Music at Millersville University seeks qualified applicants for a Temporary Full-Time Instructor/Assistant Professor, Applied Voice one-year position beginning August 2020. The recommended candidate’s responsibilities will include: teaching applied popular/commercial voice lessons to music majors and minors (1/3 credit hour load per student for a half hour lesson); recruiting voice students; serving on the audition committee for evaluating music majors and minors, coordinating the juries and recital hearings for the voice division, coordinating masterclasses. Additional duties could include teaching of other courses, including classical voice lessons, related to the needs of the department and candidate’s area of expertise. Expectations include development and teaching of courses via distance education (online). The assignment may include evening and/or weekend classes.
