Job Description / Duties

Fort Lewis College invites applicants to apply for the Assistant Professor of Music – Voice and Music
Studies (Tenure-track) position. The position entails teaching applied vocal students, group voice class,
and diction class. Additional responsibilities will be based on the candidate’s areas of expertise and may
include music courses offered for non-music majors as well as music majors such as Music Theory,
Musical Experience, Music History, or Interdisciplinary courses.

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Doctorate in music in hand by August 15, 2020
• High level of professional vocal performance skill
• One or more years of experience at the collegiate level
• Demonstrated ability to recruit students
