SPECIAL NATS TOUR: Dinner Cruise Aboard the "Star of Knoxville"

Let the "Star of Knoxville" riverboat show you Knoxville like no one else can! Join us for a casual dinner aboard this authentic paddlewheeler along the Tennessee River. While cruising, you will enjoy one of the most breathtaking views in Knoxville. Not only will you see some of the history of the river, you will most certainly be relaxed by the river’s beauty.

  • Date: Thursday, June 27, 2024. Boarding begins at 5:15 p.m. Sailing promptly at 6 p.m.

Explore the wilderness in the heart of downtown Knoxville. Two exciting, outdoor adventure options are available! 

  • Date: Friday, June 28, 2024. Depart Knoxville Convention Center at 8:45 a.m. Return at 12:45 p.m.
  • Cost: $55/person all-inclusive (transportation to/from excursion, boxed picnic lunch, and activity of choice)

ADVENTURE OPTION 1: Ijams Nature Center

Explore Knoxville's very own wildlife sanctuary, Ijams Nature Center, just minutes from downtown. A guided easy to moderate hike with an Ijams naturalist detailing native flora, fauna, and history of the property. Once back at the Nature Center, the naturalist will present Ijams animal ambassadors to provide an up-close look at some of the species that call East Tennessee home. Ijams provides more than 300 acres of beautiful, gently sloping woodlands flowing southward from the Tennessee River and contains an array of habitats and exhibits, a museum store, and miles of natural trails.

ADVENTURE OPTION 2: Navitat Knoxville

Venture into the treetops for an active and exciting adventure with Navitat Knoxville. Situated on a wooded bluff overlooking the Tennessee River, the Treetop Zipline Adventure Park offers 6 adventure trails ranging from easy to extreme. Each adventure trail consists of 8-12 elements including zip lines, bridges, swings, nets, climbs, and more. The adventure park is certain to delight first-time trekkers (as young as 7 years old) and to challenge even the most ardent adventure seeker. The experienced guides will provide training and be on hand to oversee the state-of-the-art smart belay system that allows you to go at your own pace, unassisted through the thrilling canopy!
