All are invited to submit proposals for presentations, workshops, lecture recitals, and performances for the 59th NATS National Conference, July 3-7, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. We strongly encourage submissions that celebrate the theme — Our Mosaic of Music — highlighting our shared musical heritage, diverse and indigenous musical traditions, and the ways our artistry connects us across cultures as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States on July 4.

*Preference will be given to proposals with two or more presenters. 

• 150-word abstract. This will serve as both the application abstract AND presentation description posted at the conference.
• Narrative describing the session in detail (2-page maximum) PDF file is required.
• Name and e-mail of one active NATS member to provide an electronic letter of support/reference for the proposal application.
• High-resolution photo of all presenters (High Resolution JPG) File name must include presenter's name.
• 150-word biographies of all presenters.
• Current email addresses of all presenters.

Your application can be started and completed at a later date, if necessary, but the application will not be considered complete until all requested information has been provided.
